Simon Cowell's face leaves fans baffled AGAIN (2023)

Simon Cowell's appearance has once again sparked a furious discussion from fans after he appeared on Friday's This Morning.

The BGTjudge, 62, chatted on the show alongside his fellow judges, ahead of the show's grand final - yet fans couldn't help but focus on his drastically different look - after Simonhimself recently admitted that he took things too far with Botox treatments.

Taking to Twitter, fans expressed concern for the star with one writing: 'What’s happened to Simon Cowell's face ? It’s like it’s sliding downwards!'

Another wrote: 'What the f*** has Simon Cowell done to his eyes/ face?' while a third typed: 'state of Simon Cowell's face!'

Back in April fans also took tosocial media to voice their concerns.

Taking to Twitter fans penned: 'Simon Cowell doesn’t even look like Simon Cowell anymore'; 'Simon Cowell looks different but I can't put my finger on it, has he had some work done?'

'Simon Cowell.. what have you done to your face?'; 'What has actually happened to Simon Cowell’s face ? #BGT'; 'Why does Simon Cowell look weird?? Its like his eyes have gotten too small for his face #BGT'

This comes as Simonrecently revealed that he took his love of Botox too far, with his final treatment leaving him looking like 'something out of a horror show'.

According toThe Sunthe talent show boss said that he decided to stop when his strange appearance left son Eric, eight, in hysterics.

The former X Factor judge, who shares his son with partner Lauren Silverman, 44, revealed that as a result he no longer has any filler in his face.

The music mogul began to look significantly differently back in 2016 during the 11th season of America's Got Talent.

He said: 'There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other'.

Simon went on to reveal that during that period he may have taken things a little too far in his a bid for a youthful appearance.

He admitted: 'I saw a picture of me from "before" the other day, and didn't recognise it as me first of all'.

The producer said that he decided to finally stop using the injectables when his son Eric noticed his changing profile: 'He was in hysterics. Enough was enough'

The TV personality has more recently shown a more natural look saying: 'There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero'.

This comes after Loren Allred was triumphant on Thursday night's semi-final ofBritain's Got Talent after winning the public vote amid claims her involvement in the show had fixed.

The singer, 32, who unveiled herself as the singer ofThe Greatest Showman hit Never Enough earlier in the series, sailed through to the next round after receiving the most votes from the public.

She was followed by dancers Five Star Boys who received votes from judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, leaving invisible illusionist The Phantom to leave the competition.

Simon added that he would have voted for Five Star Boys, admitting he was baffled by The Phantom's performance which left the judges confused despite them all taking part in the act.

Earlier in the show, Simon addressed controversy over Loren appearing on the show, having already worked professionally while offering her vocals to The Greatest Showman.

He said:‘I also know you got a bit of stick in the media, “It’s a fix because you’ve been on another show."

'That’s the whole point of shows like this, that you give someone another chance.’

He added that he hoped she would go on to win the competition, adding that he was a huge fan.

Last month it was claimed one in four BGTacts are 'recycled' from other shows or have links to Simonand other show talent.

Of the 60 acts that have been shown on television this year, 15 have either appeared on another series from the Got Talent franchise, are linked to head judge Simon or someone else linked to the shows, or are already 'professional', according to The Sun.

The likes of American singerLoren is the voiceof the hit song Never Enough from the 2017 filmThe Greatest Showman, while soul singer Mel Day, 77, achieved chart success as thelead vocalist of J.A.L.N. Band in the US and UK with 1976 trackDisco Music (I Like It).

A BGT spokesman told MailOnline at the time: 'Whilst most people will have heard the infamous Greatest Showman track, Loren is not a household name, and she deserves her spot on the BGT stage.

'We hope that such articles will not count against somebody who is well deserving of this opportunity. It’s fantastic that Loren is now able to step out and stand in her own right to be the face, and not just the voice, of one of the most well-known tracks of all time.'

Meanwhile, Titan the Robot appeared on BGT hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's show Saturday Night Takeaway last year, while strongman JD Anderson was featured on their programme Red and Black, with the US muscleman also auditioning for Simon on America’s Got Talent previously.

French dance troupe Les Sancho previously finished third on their home country's version of BGT, called La France A Un Incroyable Talent, after achieving the Golden Buzzer on the show.

A Britain's Got Talent spokesperson told MailOnline at the time: 'All acts enter the competition with the hope of elevating their career to the highest level and help to reach massive new audiences which Britain’s Got Talent brings in.

'As we’re all aware, the pandemic affected so many lives, particularly those that work in the entertainment industry, and it is wrong to deny these people the opportunity to showcase their talents and entertain the nation, and ultimately perform in front of royalty at the Royal Variety Performance.

'As has always been the case, Britain’s Got Talent is open to everyone.'

Thursday's episode was kicked off by dance troupe Dame Nation who received an 'X' buzzer from an unimpressed Simon after their performance.

Simon was quick to change his mind after the pantomime stars bend over to show the words 'We love Simon' emblazoned across their costumes, with one letter on each of their bloomer knickers.

The head judge said as he gave his feedback: 'I feel really bad now. At that point I think it wasn't going great and then everything changed at the midway point.

'Then I think it got a lot better so I'm sort of half taking my X away.

'I thought it was going to be better. It was a bit like the first audition.'

David exclaimed: 'You'd be surprised to know, I loved it! It was a riot of colour and energy.'

Dance group Five Star Boys took to the stage to perform an impressive routine to song This Is Me from 2017 film The Greatest Showman.

After leaping through the auditorium and onto the platform, the emotional fivesome proudly stood and looked out across a standing ovation.

David said: 'Drink it in and enjoy it and I am so proud and happy for you boys. That was absolutely incredible.

'I just wish I was 11 and watching this show and I had you as inspiration.'

Amanda chimed in: 'I was enjoying it so much, I just didn't want it to end. We fell in love with you at the auditions and tonight was absolutely beautiful.

'Keep doing what you're going and inspire any young boy out there to follow their passion.'

Simon added: 'You were telling us your friendship formed because you were bullied at school.

'Your audition, I'm going to call it a nine. This was a 99, actually, because it was like watching a musical.

'Your choice of music was incredible. And just seeing how much it meant to you at the end, it's incredible.'

Next, The Frontline Singers, a vocal group formed during the Covid pandemic consisting of frontline workers and professional performers, performed a song written by co-founderGina Georgio.

An impressed Alesha said: 'It's because of people like you, that people like us are better off. I just love that you have found each other but this is such a beautiful moment.

Amanda added: 'It moved me to tears, we owe you such a great debt. Not only because you came together but the harmonies were great, the music was great.

'It would be great to see you in the final.

Simon said: 'We all hope and pray this thing is behind us. It gives us a chance to see you in the semi-finals to see you and what people like you do.

'This is a massive, massive thankful. Brilliant.'

Singer Bethan Marshall, performing under the name of Mary P, took to the stage to sing hits from the movie with a hip hop and pop edge.

Amanda said: 'MC Mary P. I can see a massive future for you in Ibiza. Honestly, I loved your audition, this was even better. This was like bling Mary.

'I think this week we've seen some acts where it seems the same but just keep bringing something new.'

Simon said: 'Loved that performance. Loved it, loved it, loved it. I mean it was honestly, for every second, I just thought this was genius...

'I really think, somebody like you with your originality and everything that goes with it, should be in the final.'

Illusionist The Phantom took to the stage as an invisible man in a chair before asking Amanda to join him.

David was asked to write a memory on a piece of paper before taking to the stage, while he asked Simon to think of a number.

Amanda reappeared in the box and joined David on stage where she guessed the number Simon was thinking of.

Thinking part of the act had been missed out, Simon said after the performance: 'Simon Am I being really stupid but as far as I was aware, Amanda stood in a Box, David was asked to write out what he was thinking but that part never happened.

Comedian Stefan Paolini failed to impress the judges with his routine, with the funnyman getting two buzzes from Simon and Amanda.

Amanda said after his performance: 'I have to say your audition was fantastic and we always say you have to make it a step better when you come onto the live shows and it was the same.'

Simon added: 'I think when people come on and pretty much do the same thing again, that's not the point.

David chimed in: 'I was enjoying it. You're a very likeable guy. I think there was some good jokes but it wasn't your night.

'I'm gutted for you but I think you've got more in you and a lot to share with the world.'

Titan the Robot opened his slot with a rendition of Let Me Entertain You by Robbie Williams before giving a nod to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by doing an impression of Prince Charles.

Titan was joined by Brutus and his backing singers, with there being four robots on stage in total.

However, the judges were unimpressed by the audition, with Alesha being upset he'd sprayed them with water.

She said: 'Never mess with a girl's hair, robot. You've brought your friends with you. I don't know what to say other that.'

Simon added: 'I mean, there was four of them. I don't really know what to say. They're talking robots. Help me? David.'

David summed up: 'I wouldn't want to see a while evening of it.'

Loren Allred returned to the stage after impressing earlier in the competition when she revealed she had sung in the movie The Greatest Showman.

Amanda said of her performance: 'What was beautiful was just the song, the lyrics, the breath, the control. It was nice to hear a different part of your voice.

'Different to what we heard the first time... It was a beautiful performance, well done.'

Simon enthused: 'It's both a blessing and a curse when you're known for singing one of the biggest songs of all time.

'You could have done the easy sing and sung that song again because we love it so much...

'Then tonight, I'm frustrated because that wasn't long enough. We had these weirdo robots that lasted forever.

'We haven't had a female winner so far. I hope you change that after tonight.'

Alesha concluded: 'I think you have just as much right to be in this competition as much as everyone else... Congratulations Loren, it was beautiful.'

Other than Loren, acts to have links with the show includeMatricks Illusion who have previously worked withStephen Mulhern, Ashley Banjo and Diversity, while Temple London performed for the judges onAmerica’s Got Talent in 2021 and made it to the final ofItalia’s Got Talent earlier this year.

Dance troupeIMD Legion reached the BGTsemi-finals in 2015 and appeared on Sky'sGot To Dance 2013, while comedianSuzi Wild has reached the finals of various comedy competitions, includingSo You Think You’re Funny which has previous winners includingLee Mack and Peter Kay.

German magician Topas appeared on the French version of Britain's Got Talent last year, while fellow magicianKeiichi Iwaski reachedItalia’s Got Talent's semi-finals in 2016 as well as Spain’s Got Talent Espana in 2019.

StrongmanTulga made it to theAmerica’s Got Talent quarter finals in 2017, appeared on theGot Talent show in France in 2018,Australia’s Got Talent and Czech-Slovak’s version in 2019, and also took part in aWorld’s Got Talent special in 2019.

Finally, dance troupe Dane Bates Collective took part inThe Greatest Dancer in 2019 where they were judged by Diversity'sJordan Banjo.

Britain's Got Talent bosses denied the show was fixed last month when The Greatest Showman singer Loren's audition was aired.

The performer is credited on the blockbuster's soundtrack - which reached number one in the UK and international charts - has garnered 62 million views on YouTube with the song and has evencollaborated with Michael Bubléand Andrea Bocelli.

Simon proudly said during a press conferencefor the ITV talent show that America's Got Talentbosses were 'furious' when they discovered theirUK counterparts had bagged the New Yorker.

Simon told MailOnline: 'There's a story in episode one which is brilliant in my opinion and when American producers found out we'd got this person, they were furious so I love that kind of competition.'

When asked whether he was speaking about Loren, he nodded his head to confirm he had, indeed, been referring to the pop sensation.

Having already released an EP after signing with Island Def Jam Music at 19 years old, she tried her luck on The Voice in the US back in 2012, where her mentor was Maroon 5's Adam Levine until she was sent home in the live shows.

The Syco founder has previously gushed about his love of the film, claiming he is 'obsessed' and even organised a meeting with its leading man Hugh Jackman.

However, he seemed completely oblivious when Loren introduced herself in front of the London Palladium audience in scenes from the series premiere.
